HANGUL

h is learning to read korean 'hangul'
t'is an intresting script designed in the 14th c
by old king saejong and his merry men
to help the general korean populace to read
(them nasty chinese pictograms
were pretty tough to get the hangul of
unlike the korean version
which - famously - can be learnt in a day
although it often isnt!)
maybe we should give it a try in the uk
anyways heres what it looks like: 한글
(oops - guess you may not be able to get that on your computer!)
h's teacher drops by for a short lesson once a week
usually the cue for some frantic last-minute flat-cleaning
but h loves the lessons
particularly sticking the little stickers in her book
